50 Cent calling out Rocsi

Rocsi from 106 and Park decided to open her big mouth now 50 Cent is airing her business….damn Rocsi you should know better.

Personally I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion but she should have kept it to herself not because its 50 Cent but because her job is to host 106th & Park so why would you put down someone that is a regular on the show……you put yourself in an awkward situation and now have to deal with the wrath that is 50 Cent!

Rocsi Stating 50's album is "GARBAGE"

50 airing out Rocsi's business

Brandy please come get your brother!!!

Ray J was interviewed by Essence magazine, he was asked if he proposed to Whitney Houston but he went on and on about young men taking on the responsibility of marriage and blah blah blah……so basically he wouldn’t deny or confirm if the reports were true….here is a snippet of the interview for the rest click link.

Essence.com: Congrats on the success of your debut single "Sexy Can I", which I understand has already been certified platinum. That's major for your independent label Knock Out Entertainment. How has it affected your baller-status?

Ray J: Yes, it is, but we're very humble and grateful for Koch, which is the No. 1 indie label for the distribution partnership. We're going to keep doing what we do and our goal is to have 500,000 in sales.

Essence.com: It's great to see you hold your own because there was a time in the beginning of your music career that your album struggled and many believed that you'd always live in your sister Brandy's shadow. Was it ever difficult to receive such criticism?

R.J.: Yeah, I heard everything but I don't tune into it because words don't affect me. You always hear what everybody says but the media doesn't make me think twice about myself or my family. We stay true to ourselves and let the everyone else create their own stories. Honestly, it wasn't about struggling. When I was a teenager I didn't really care about music especially with my sister being so successful I was able to experience it through her so I didn't devote myself to my music. It wasn't like I was thrown into the music industry but I will admit that I didn't have the passion. At that age, I just wanted to have a lot of fun. My first goal was to take care of my family and the second was to have fun. It wasn't fun because it felt like work.

Essence.com: As most teenagers do. Now, you're all grown up yet most of the public still has a difficult time viewing you as a young man even in the aftermath of the infamous sex tape. Was your song "Sexy Can I" inspired by that very public experience?

R.J.: No, it was inspired by me--my life and naughty-by-nature experiences. I love and respect women. I shaped my music based on how a woman would feel when she listens to my music. And I also want the fellas to be able to relate to it and maybe feel the way I do about a sexy woman. Even my latest single "Gifts" honors beautiful women with special gifts be it her lips, hips, love handles or whatever. I thank each and every woman for her own unique gift. With this album, I just want people to feel, laugh, cry and know that I'm only going to get better with time.

Essence.com: It's interesting that you say that you respect women because some might beg to differ again after the sex tape. What do you think of that public perception?

R.J.: Well, that's people who don't know me, but the people who do know me like the Whitney Houston's, the Lil Kim's, my sisters and my friends they want to hang out with me because we vibe, they're respectable people, I'm respectable people and it's all love--that's who I am.

Essence.com: As it should be. Would you consider yourself an opportunist?

R.J.: When an opportunity comes I want to be prepared for it. So am I prepared as far as my talent is concerned? Yes I am so that I can be prepared for any opportunity so I guess in that sense I am. I want to be prepared as an entertainer so that when you come to see me perform what you see is entertainment whether you think I'm good or bad, either way you are entertained.

Essence.com
: After the tape was released was there a part of you that felt like the damage had already been done so why not capitalize on it?

R.J.: But I did not capitalize on that tape. I turned down about five or six deals some of them $2 million and $7 million dollar deals which added up to a lot of money. So yeah, I took the meetings because I wanted to hear what they had to say, but I turned down everything because it's not always about the money.

Essence.com: But I heard you were considering a deal to release your own brand of condoms. Is that true?

R.J.: Well, yes I'm still looking into the condoms. We all still need to practice safe sex at all times and everybody needs to use condoms so it's something I would definitely consider doing.

Essence.com: I'm sure walking away from all that money was a difficult decision to make. What was your parents' reaction to the sex-gate scandal? Did they ask, "Boy have you lost your mind?"

R.J.: I've gotten that and a lecture as I should receive from my parents. They've always been strict with me especially growing up, but they've also been supportive in helping me get through this.

Essence.com: And what was Brandy's advice to you?

R.J.: You know she understands I'm living my life just as she's living hers and that we have to be there for each other through thick and thin and the ups and downs and that's the way it always been between us and will remain.

Essence.com: Family has to stick together. So did your parents or your sister ever see the tape?

R.J.: No. They would never, no. We were just trying to get pass it because it was an uncomfortable situation for everybody and it still is. We try not to focus on it. We just never talk about it.

Essence.com: There have been rumors that you and Kim Kardashian collaborated on the release of the tape for profit and the promotion of your careers. Is that true?

R.J.: Everything has been said about that. All I can say is that so many things had to be worked out legally to take care of the damages [that the company that released it] was prepared to do that from the start.

Essence.com: So you two were paid for your troubles?

R.J.: We got taken care of for the damages that happened with the tapes release especially with all the profits that were made from it.

Can't we all just get along....damn

Floyd Mayweather called into Atlanta radio station 107.9 earlier this week and he kept going on and on about Reggie Bush. Floyd called Reggie Bush a Hater and said that he would not only whoop his ass but also go after his girlfriend Kim Kardashian and said he was going to send her a Ferrari and have it delivered at her doorstep with a black ribbon…like I said what’s really good????? Let’s start with throwing out real hundred dollar bills before sending Ferrari on the door steps of females that can afford their own. Also he is claiming to be retiring from boxing…….so don’t you think you should hold onto that wallet a little tighter just for that reason???? I’m just saying…….

TOP MODEL RECAP - SEASON FINALE!!!!!

So here we are… season finale of ANTM. The girls settle in after panel to prepare for the days ahead. I was surprised when Whitney mentioned that she and Anya were such good friends. I mean I barely saw the two speak; yet I guess when you have slim pickings you go anywhere for a good conversation. That’s if you can understand I word Anya is saying.

They next day the ladies shot their Cover Girl commercials, which just as I thought, was a bit of a mess. I mean, no one sucked, but really, is this all we have left? Fatima barreled right through the read, Whitney was fake and plus sized, and Anya, well I wasn’t to sure if that was English she was speaking. Luckily they got to shoot a print ad because I really wouldn’t have a clue what the judges would have to pick from.

At panel, the only thing that kept bothering me is why, why, why they did not at least edit the commercial outtakes so that we didn’t have to be subjected to the muttering and the stuttering. I almost wanted to change the channel because I felt so embarrassed for them. Anya was picked first for the final two, leaving Whitney and Fatima waiting to hear which one of them will make it. Then something interesting occurred, Whitney actually began to show real emotion. I mean a real life tear and everything. Unfortunately for Fatima her strong face couldn’t save her this time. Yeah sure she’s Somalian, but she’s no Iman and was sent home.

I didn’t really expect that the girls will be shooting the Seventeen magazine cover right away. Again Nigel was shooting because he comes cheap. As nice as it was to look at him I kind of thought it would fair better to get going and ready for the runway. This year they actually found a real designer with a name everyone can recognize (Versace). It was just a bit unsettling that the runway and background looked cheap, and that I was actually jealous of the male model’s eye makeup. I know the girls were trying, but Anya walked with the same force a wet noodle would and Whitney looked like she was wearing a sac in the first dress. And what was up with that final pose at the end. They both looked like they smelled something funny yet very foul. Zexy…

Finally, in their favorite dresses from the runway challenge, the girls prepared to hear a decision that would most definitely change the course of their lives. It was clear that while Anya was more high fashion, Whitney was just prettier and would fill a new model genre not filled yet in past seasons (full figure modeling). In the end it seemed more important to make history than to make sense as they crowed Whitney, the first plus sized model as this years America’s Next Top Model.

ESSENCE INTERVIEW WITH MARY, ALICIA AND JILL

Essence magazine sat down with the reigning queens of R&B and this is how the interview went:

Essence: One thing you all have in common is that you each had a debut album that was a phenomenal success. How do you feel when you hear those songs now?

Mary J. Blige: It’s been about six months since I’ve listened to What’s the 411? I was in Japan working out, and when I heard it, I could definitely feel my youth, but I could also hear that I’ve always had an old soul. When I think back to that time, I remember that I was singing to escape. I understand that some people are stuck in that place, but I firmly believe that if you don’t evolve and grow, you will die.

Essence
: From the outside looking in, it seems that success has been yours since day one, but there probably were, and are, disappointments. How do you cope when a project doesn’t pan out?

Jill Scott: This is life, and if something doesn’t work out, then it wasn’t meant to. I feel that there is a divine plan in all things. All I can do is the best I can do, and if it’s well received, then, yeah. If not, I hope life will give me an opportunity to try again. Do I challenge myself? Absolutely. But beat myself up? I just can’t do it.

Essence: Have you ever regretted folding to pressure from record labels?

Alicia Keys: In the beginning, I didn’t understand the concept of boundaries. I wanted to make sure the music was heard, but there’s a price you pay for that. I did everything and anything to promote my first album, like flying from New York to Los Angeles and back on the same day, which was a bit excessive.

Essence: Have you figured out the ingredients for the perfect song?

Mary: Yes, but I won’t tell. [Laughs] For me, it’s about being real and honest. And the lyrics have to be relatable.

Jill: Oh, I wish I knew. I think Ne-Yo knows. I think Carvin Haggins, who does a lot of writing for Musiq Soulchild, has the ingredients, too. My songs are mostly about life experiences, about being human and falling and getting back up. About loving and losing.

Essence: But aren’t those the ingredients right there?

Alicia: It’s always a bit of a mystery. A song should deal with a widely understood emotion, have a really strong, clear explanation of that emotion and a great melody that makes you want to sing it at the top of your lungs. Then the music should evoke the same feeling as the lyrics. Somewhere within all of that lies the perfect song.

TOP MODEL RECAP

The pressure was on this week on ANTM. As the girls continued settling down in at their home in Rome it was clear that one of the models was letting all this “Europeaness” get into her head. If you thought I was referring to Dominique, then you guessed right. I mean someone needs to give this girl a reality check. There is nothing wrong with being confident, but when confidence turns to cockiness it starts to be a turn off. This couldn’t be more the case when she started to open her fat yap tonight. I mean if you feel like you are going to win this competition, then bring it don’t sing it.

This week’s competition just made me left me a little confused. I could tell that ANTM’s contacts in Rome are pretty much few and far between. I mean they would have to be when they bring in Paulina, one of the judges, to teach them how to take action shots. Well I mean I would assume that was what was going on, but I still had a hard time understanding why Paulina was in the front of the camera and not the 4 hopefuls. I mean Paulina, yours, just like Tyra’s, time is done; now kindly step aside. This week Fatima not Anya won the challenge and 50 extra frames for her photo shoot. Personally I would have wanted a shopping spree instead.

At the photo shoot, the girls were to emulates that there are being caught by surprise by the paparazzi. Ummm can anyone say “recipe for disaster”. I mean the whole point of this competition is to get your picture taken; now they had to pretend that this is the last thing they wanted. Ummm we already know they all can’t act. So I know someone about to look a hot mess. First Anya came in and stumbled her way throughout the whole photo shoot. Then Fatima, ignorant to any really criticisms, growled her way though her photos. Dominique channeled her inner tranny, but in her defense, Jay did tell her to be the “bitch” which in her case look like a hot tranny mess on film. And finally Whitney, and all her plus sized glory, faked her way though her photos. I’m sort of convinced that Whitney is not a real person; I mean is Whitney even her real name?

At panel it was painfully obvious that the girls missed the mark in these photos. Yet not only do the models miss it, but Tyra too. I feel like the producers need to remind Tyra that they are in Rome, and not France or any other country in Europe. Her fake European accent sounds more like Miss Cleo, than international model extraordinaire. Tonight Paulina almost had me keeled over when she called Dominique a hot tranny to her face. I mean it needed to be said, we’ve been saying it for weeks. I guess Dominique, or should we say Dominic, should finally just come out admit that she/he has no junk in the truck because all her junk is in the front. In a shocking twist, Dominique’s tranniness was just too much for the judges and she was sent home. I guess it’s back to America for Dom…

TOP MODEL RECAP

This week on ANTM…gladiators???? Ok well I guess… you know, when in Rome… do as the Romans… and knock a bitch out…

The girls show up to the Roman ruins only two find some beefy women wiping a few men’s asses… (Queue in random gladiator man in tight gray top) I was so distracted by his erect nipples that I almost missed that he was going to teach the remaining 5 girls how to be graceful while cutting a man’s head off. Take note men, do not mess with any of these chicks… they will fuck you up

Anyway I didn’t really know what to make of the whole situation. I guess I figured this was some kind of posing challenge. I thought Miss J and J Alexander were asking for much when they expected the ladies to be modelesque posing with their swords and beating against some ragged looking shield in outfits that look more like Zena Princess Warrior, then the gladiator of Rome. As the challenge wore on, it was obvious that Fatima was throwing the challenge, she was tripping everywhere, I was shocked she didn’t stick the sword in her eye. After the dust settled, Whitney won the challenge and the shopping spree, and chose to take Anya with her. I guess this is sort of like Anya’s 3rd win in a row, and she didn’t even have to compete.

I guess they are running out of photographers because this week Tyra took the pictures. I don’t know what theme was this week, but they all looked like hot tranny mess, not just Dominique, because she manages that all on her own, but they all did. Big hair, too much makeup, loud clothes I mean I guess that high fashion but it still looked like the trannies went to the circus at that photo shoot.

At panel it was a close race. While the judges did have some good things to say about all the models, it was clear that two of them where just a day late and a dollar short. While Whitney’s personality makes her a great spokesperson for Cover Girl, she posed more like a Playboy pinup than a high fashion model; and Katarzyna does give good face, unfortunately this week she failed to connect to the camera with her eyes and well is pretty forgettable. The panel felt that Whitney’s win at the challenge gave her more potential and sent Katarzyna packing. Oh well, as bad as I felt for the girl, I know by next week I would have forgotten all about her.
